VISUAL DESIGN

SV LEAGUE
We collaborated with director Daisuke Kobayashi and production Spoon to bring the opening video for the semi-pro volleyball league "SV League". Using the latest NeRF technology, we built a 3D model of the venue. The video uses dynamic camera work to show the history of Japanese volleyball in order, with different clips appearing on the court. These clips lead into a long rally, connecting the history to today’s players.

This time, we used point cloud data generated by "Gaussian Splatting" and arranged it within a 3D recreation of the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. The coordinate data was then imported into the "Gaussian Splatting generation software" for rendering. Additionally, to replicate visuals similar to those created by NeRF, we rendered a 3D model of the Tokyo Gymnasium, then processed it through NeRF once again for rendering. This complex process was undertaken to achieve the desired look.
